Complete bare metal re-spray in classic red with ivory stripes all done to the correct ‘66 Shelby dimensions in basecoat and then top lacquered for a silk smooth finish. A far higher standard than the original and better than any American restoration.
Complete front wishbone suspension clip replacement with turrets removed and power disc brake conversion, lowered 4.5 rear leaf springs with Koni adjustable shocks. Handles and drives exceptionally well.
Engine is a freshly rebuilt 302Cu that’s 5.0 litre in English. New valves, springs, billet roller rockers, pistons, water pump etc. All done at Rennsport to an exceptional standard.
Power steering, electric fan alloy radiator alloy expansion tank, brand new 4 barrel Holley Hooker long tube headers and straight through pipes. 350-400 bhp 5 speed T5 Borg Warner Cosworth gearbox with updated clutch and billet rose jointed quick shift.
Brand new 8x15 American racing wheels with new BF Goodrich white walls.
Interior is excellent condition with a little patina although it has brand new factory spec carpet throughout. All original with a Shelby radio delete and a low mounted discreet modern DAB Sat Nav.
A very quick car lovely to drive with lots of power and torque.
