At Rennsport, we let you do the talking. Our technical expertise ensures that we can transfer your vision from paper to reality. We measure success in two strains: an unmatched dedication to excellent engineering, and a second-to-none client satisfaction rate.
What makes a successful Restomod? In the words of our founder, Paul Cockell, “a happy customer at the end of the process”.
In early 2010, Rennsport was born out of Paul's successful restoration and sale of his own car, which quickly attracted significant demand. He wanted a company that reflected a commitment to technical and stylistic excellence, and a dedication to creating an authentic Restomod bespoke build unlike any other. Out of this vision came Rennsport.
After partnering with his father, Keith Cockell, our two-floor engineering premises in the Cotswolds was born, and the rest is history.
Rennsport is a family business owned by father and son Keith and Paul Cockell. The Cockells have built a reputable name within the automotive industry through their state-of-the-art engineering and contributions to British car design.
Paul Cockell, the founder and Managing Director of Rennsport 911, is a seasoned expert with over 37 years of dedicated experience working with Porsche 911s. His journey began at the age of 16, when he trained as a certified Porsche technician, igniting his lifelong passion for these iconic cars. Paul later transitioned to working on race cars, specifically the 2.7 RS, providing track support and participating in test days.
This hands-on experience with high-performance vehicles laid the groundwork for his expertise. Since then, he has built and set up championship-winning cars and worked on genuine concours Carrera RS models, cementing his reputation as a leading authority in the field.
Keith Cockell brings a wealth of experience from both the motor and building industries to the company. During his time at Chrysler Europe, he played a pivotal role in design, contributing to the creation of the Alpine, Talbot Tagora, and the Sunbeam—a car that famously won the 1981 World Rally Championship in its Lotus variant. Additionally, his contributions to automotive design were recognised through his role as a lecturer at the Royal College of Arts.
After leaving the motor industry, Keith transitioned into the property sector, establishing a successful business that provided him with valuable insights into bespoke workshop design.
