Whether you want a pure ‘nut and bolt’ rebuild or a customised model, our full restoration service aims to refresh your bespoke build with today’s rigorous safety standards in mind. Here at Rennsport, it’s our goal to ensure your 911 combines a classic feel with cutting-edge technical vehicle dynamics.

Full Strip & Metalwork

Although the galvanisation of Porsche 911’s began in 1976, we err on the side of caution to avoid rust. All our cars are fully stripped by hand rather than acid-dipped or shot-blasted. We also check for issues in the rear arches, kidney bowls, sills, inner wings, screen corners, sunroofs, battery trays, fuel tanks, joints, and footwells. Our choice to use steel avoids future issues with delaminating whilst also retaining the strength and integrity of the original car. Depending on your chosen body style, we can also weld the wider arches and backdated panels.

Pick a colour

We offer any colour of your choice. Beyond this, we have a range of beautiful Porsche official classic period colours, and a variety of modern colours such as metallics and PTS colours.

Interior Fitout

At Rennsport we offer a variety of opportunities to tailor your interiors to your exact requirements. We soundproof and fit new carpets to your car before adding matching re-trimmed front and rear seats, as well as introducing the dash and instruments and switchgear in line with your requests.

Engine Rebuild & Tune

Each engine is fully stripped, cleaned, machined and rebuilt using new balanced and blueprinted parts. The Gearbox goes through the same treatment and both are reunited with the car once it returns from the bodyshop. Increased capacity and individual throttle bodies can be also be specified to further improve performance.

Suspension & Brakes

We are able to upgrade or fit a large variety of suspension and brakes to cater to your car’s intended purpose. New brake lines can be installed and we fit either standard or uprated brake systems according to customer requirements; 6 & 4 billet callipers with enlarged floating drilled or grooved discs are available.

Regarding suspension, we offer standard or a semi active system, providing on-the-go programmable changes to the damper settings. Moreover, we provide Tractive Suspension, which is renowned for catering to both track settings and day-to-day use.

Restoration Complete

Once the restoration is complete we fully check, MOT and shakedown the car, ready for collection. Our cars are effectively new and should be treated as such, with a run in period of 500-1000 miles before a return to our workshops for an initial service and checkover. We include a full 12 month warranty on all new Rennsport fully restored cars for peace of mind.
