Rennsport ST PTS midnight blue pearl CoupeBased on the later G-series platform
A very popular specification of Rennsport with a great level of extras and additions.
Rennsport ST body built with the 1970 specifications of the factory homologation race cars but using lightweight steel panels the same as the Porsche factory would have done if it were building a road car version.
The only composite panels are the one piece lightweight bumpers. The paint is finished in PTS midnight blue pearl.
Very popular with the ST is an upgrade of a classic style interior with fine saddle brown Recaro classic seats and plenty of black Caledonian Scottish Muirhead leather everywhere.
Rennsport blueprint 3.2Litre engine running with forged internals for extra strength and reliability with Bosch Motronic fuel injection.
An OE Carrera spec engine built to the customer requirements and within budget still runs a healthy 250bhp with the help of a stainless steel performance exhaust system.
The transmission is delivered from the Getrag G50 manual gearbox with synchro gears and hydraulic uprated clutch.
Tracktive semi-active electronic damping system running with torsion bars front and rear. Very popular with many Rennsport builds with the ability to change the parameter settings from within the car. It takes out the harshness of an uprated suspension for comfort but delivers the traction when pushed thanks to its centrally mounted gravity sensor.
Upgraded to Clubsport specifications which are more than enough for this specified road touring ST car.
Filling the arches perfectly and in true period style are semi-forged lightweight Braid 9” fronts and 10” rears 16” diameter wheels.
